GM Certified Technician
About The Position
Hudson Automotive Group is actively seeking GM Certified Technicians to join our award-winning, high-volume service team. Hudson Automotive Group, founded in 1948, is a third-generation, family owned & operated business proudly serving customers with all their automotive needs. Hudson Automotive has grown from a single location in Providence, KY to a multistate, multi-franchise organization with over 60 dealerships and more than 4,500 employees throughout 8 States concentrated in the Southeast. We are looking for GM Technicians to join our fast growing Service Department. We offer top pay with a $65k - $120k Annual Earning Potential including Production Bonuses and Yearly Retention Bonus. A Sign On Bonus is available for Highly Qualified Technicians. We also offer Paid Vacation PLUS Yearly Accrued PTO (10 Days in your 1st Year, 15 Days after 1st Anniversary). Requirements
- Valid Drivers License
- 2-5+ years Automotive Technician Experience (Required)
- Manufacturer experience preferred
- Customer focused professional who is self-motivated, competitive and coachable.
- All applicants must be able to pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, MVR, drug test, and possess a valid driver's license.
Responsibilities
- Technicians perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with quality and dealership standards.
- Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
- Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
- Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are informed if any additional service is needed.
- Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs.
- Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications and communicate with the parts department to obtain needed parts.
