Requirements
- ASE Certification is required
- General Motors Certification is required to receive the new hire bonus for GM certified technicians.
- A-level qualifications in diagnostics, electrical, and engine repair.
- Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment and a commitment to learning new repair procedures.
- A valid driver’s license with a clean record and a high school diploma or GED.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, maintain, and repair automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, electrical, and brakes.
- Perform work efficiently according to dealership procedures and manufacturer warranty specifications.
- Collaborate with Service Advisors to provide accurate repair estimates and keep customers informed.
- Test-drive vehicles and use diagnostic tools to ensure every repair is done right the first time.
