About The Position

Bell & Bell GMC is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable GM Parts Counter Consultant to join our team in Little River, SC. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for GM techs and retail customers seeking parts, providing expert guidance and exceptional service to ensure a seamless parts purchasing experience. Your thorough understanding of GM products and strong customer service skills will contribute significantly to the dealership’s success and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in automotive parts sales or a similar role, preferably with GM products.
  • Strong knowledge of GM vehicle parts and accessories.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work well both independently and within a team environment.
  • Proficient with inventory management systems and basic computer skills.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Assist customers in locating and purchasing the correct GM auto parts and accessories.
  • Provide expert advice and recommendations on parts compatibility and functionality.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure timely parts availability.
  • Collaborate with service technicians, sales staff, and suppliers to fulfill parts orders efficiently.
  • Handle parts returns, warranty claims, and exchanges according to company policy.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and customer-friendly parts counter area.
  • Check in parts and deliver them when needed.
