We are seeking a high-performing General Motors A-Level Certified Master Technician to join our state-of-the-art facility in Stow. Requirements

  • Minimum of 4–5+ years of dedicated experience as a flat-rate dealership technician, with a proven track record of high efficiency and low comebacks.
  • Current General Motors (GM) Training Certifications (Master Certified preferred) and a strong portfolio of current ASE certifications.
  • Must possess a comprehensive set of master-level professional hand tools, diagnostic equipment, and secure tool storage.
  • Expert-level proficiency in reading wiring diagrams, executing complex electrical diagnostics, and utilizing modern flash programming modules.
  • A valid driver's license with a clean, insurable driving record.
  • Minimum of 5 years in professional automotive repair (preferred).
  • ASE Certification (Required).
  • Manufacturer Certification (Required).
  • Maintain ASE Certification in the following areas: A1: Engine Repair A2: Automatic Transmission/Transaxle A3: Manual Drive Train & Axles A4: Suspension & Steering A5: Brakes A6: Electrical/Electronic Systems A7: Heating & Air Conditioning AB: Engine Performance A9: Light Vehicle Diesel Engines
  • Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record (must qualify for company insurance).
  • Ability to operate a wide variety of vehicles, including manual and automatic transmissions.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, masterfully troubleshoot, and repair complex vehicle systems, including internal engine failures, advanced electrical, transmissions (including heavy line), drivability issues, and ADAS safety systems.
  • Utilize GM factory scan tools and advanced diagnostic equipment to accurately determine root causes of failure.
  • Perform high-quality, efficient warranty and customer-pay repairs strictly adhering to General Motors factory specifications and safety protocols.
  • Conduct detailed digital multi-point inspections and collaborate closely with Service Advisors to provide clear, transparent explanations for our guests.
  • Mentor and provide technical guidance to entry-level and C-level technicians, fostering an environment of continuous shop development.
