About The Position

The Gluer Operator reviews work orders, gluing requirements, and job specifications to determine the components, settings, and adjustments needed for the gluer/folder machine. The operator adjusts machine components to accommodate material widths, lengths, and thicknesses, as well as glue quantities. The role includes monitoring glue machinery operators and product quality, checking finished products against job order requirements, tracking glue and tag inventory, performing routine cleaning and lubrication, and entering job, quality, and inventory data.

Responsibilities

• Review work orders, gluing requirements, and job specifics to determine machine components, settings, and adjustments.
• Adjust gluer/folder machine components based on material widths, lengths, thicknesses, and required amounts of glue.
• Monitor glue machinery operators and ensure processed products meet client specifications.
• Examine finished products to verify that samples meet job order requirements.
• Monitor inventory for glue and tags.
• Perform routine machine maintenance, including cleaning and lubrication.
• Enter accurate job data, including counts, quality records, and inventory.
