This role is crucial for ensuring seamless logistics and planning activities, serving as the primary contact between cross-functional teams and stakeholders. The Global Vendor Planner will ensure materials are scheduled, evaluated, and delivered accurately and on time, utilizing agility to meet customer demand, resolve escalations, achieve metrics, and improve processes while driving inventory targets.

Requirements

University degree in engineering or economics, or related field.
Minimum 5 years of working experience with MRP, SAP (MM), or ERP systems.
Minimum 3 years of supply chain experience, including supply planning, production planning, and SIOP.
Strong and effective communicator at multi-levels of the organization (verbal and written), able to adapt to the audience and be precise, accurate, and timely.
Strong team player able to work in a matrixed environment.
Customer-focused with strong decision-making skills.
Responsible for delivering on commitments and meeting targets and deadlines.
Organized and pays attention to details.
Cooperation with cross-functional teams.
Understands Sales, Inventory & Operations Plan (SIOP) reports and analysis.
Ability to work well under pressure.
Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), SAP, LMS, O9.
Proficiency in relevant processes (Demand & supplier planning, SIOP, MPS, BOM, MRP).
Problem-solving skills with the ability to provide solutions.
Results-driven with a clear focus on goals and the ability to be creative to deliver needed outcomes in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

Responsible for the Supplier Weekly planning process for a specific portfolio of suppliers.
Responsible for supplier delivery follow-up, including Advance Ship Notices (ASN), short shipments, over-deliveries, and recovery plans.
Responsible for end-to-end supplier planning activities for the full planning horizontal, covering "concept to build" (CTB).
Provide support for all plants on component planning and execution for the assigned suppliers portfolio.
Creation of Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) and collaboration with the supply base to recover costs.
Maintain planning parameters in accordance with global replenishment rules, plant, and inventory strategies.
Drive continuous improvements in the planning process to maintain target inventory levels.
Coordinate with the team to analyze short/mid-term Rough Cut Capacity Planning (RCCP) on a monthly basis, verifying supplier capacity alignment with actual shipments.
Support Value Engineering (VE) and Reverse Engineering (RE) initiatives, PIPO (Production Introduction Production Out), transition, and last-time buy projects with the Supply Base department.
Support New Product Introduction (NPI) projects by checking new parts schedules and pipelines on a weekly basis.
Support supplier logistic development in the region and negotiate/sign logistic protocols with suppliers.
Follow and drive actions to improve the Supplier On-Time-In-Full (OTIF) metric for the assigned suppliers portfolio, including On-Time-In-Full (OTIF) approvals/rejections.
Support the implementation and deployment of supplier Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning (SIOP).
Provide input for the supplier scorecard, including weekly updates and follow-up.
Perform activities in accordance with experience, knowledge, and work instructions, ensuring no person is exposed to accidents or professional illnesses.
Immediately inform management about any work situation posing a threat to safety and health, or deficiencies in protection systems.
Inform management about any work-related accidents.
Cooperate with the employer and assigned workers to ensure a safe and risk-free work environment.
