About The Position

The Global Trainee Program at RHI Magnesita marks the beginning of a hands-on, international journey at RHI Magnesita. Based in our North America (NAM) region, we’re looking for our next standout talent, someone eager to gain hands-on experience by collaborating with our teams on a wide range of supply chain and procurement initiatives. This includes supporting the rollout of new processes and systems, as well as analyzing business and purchasing data in the context of broader macroeconomic trends.

In this role, the Supply Chain Management Trainee will draw meaningful connections across diverse information sources while contributing to the adoption and evolution of new business intelligence technologies.

This internship is designed to help you:

Requirements

• Degree requirement: minimum BSc or equivalency
• First professional experience through internships, or entry-level roles
• Fluent in English (spoken and written)
• Motivation to take initiative and drive topics forward
• Pragmatic problem-solving skills and clear communication style
• Open-minded, agile, and comfortable with change
• Ability to thrive in diverse, international environments
• Experience with Microsoft Office is expected

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with Power BI or Tableau

Responsibilities

• Define, search for and interact with multiple sources to gather purchasing, market & internal intelligence which will be summarized and shared with our NAM teams.
• Develop, maintain, and govern regional intelligence reporting which will combine external & internal market information.
• Perform ad-hoc analyses together within dept and in collaboration with other global RHI Magnesita departments as needed.
• Complement specific Supply Chain activities to include a demand/supply planning system maturity (o9 Supply Planning Tool) and finished goods inventory positioning; complement specific Procurement activities to include a new ERP implementation (SAP S4H), vendor enrollment, guided buying, commerce automation and contracting as a supporting user of SAP Ariba.
• Organize KPI reviews of procurement categories together with the procurement category responsible leads.
