It also requires monitoring import activity and entry status via Automated Commercial Environment (ACE), supporting responses to CBP Requests for Information (CF 28), audits, and post entry corrections. The specialist will support the identification and tracking of duty exposure, refunds, and post entry adjustments, and help identify, assess, and escalate potential compliance risks. Furthermore, the role includes supporting export compliance processes, assisting with product classification and export control assessments, coordinating with external counsel on complex export questions, and providing practical guidance to internal stakeholders. The specialist will implement and maintain trade compliance policies and procedures, assist in developing and delivering internal training, and ensure compliance requirements are embedded into operational workflows.
