The Global Technology (GT) Initiative Portfolio & Operational Excellence Executive is accountable for shaping, driving, and governing the $4B+ technology initiatives investment portfolio, inclusive of planning, prioritization, and portfolio health reporting. The role ensures that technology investments are strategically aligned, value-accretive, and delivered with disciplined governance and portfolio management practices ensuring transparent and measurable decisions and outcomes. Serving as a key partner to Global Technology senior business leadership and the Enterprise Initiative team, this leader oversees the end-to-end technology portfolio lifecycle, from multi-year planning through execution oversight, value realization, and executive narratives and insights. In addition, this role leads Global Technology Operational Excellence (OpEx) efforts, including the management and activation of enterprise “Speak Up” ideas within Technology. This includes aligning grassroots innovation and continuous improvement opportunities to existing transformation priorities, ensuring scalability of impactful ideas, and embedding a culture of accountability and continuous improvement across the organization. This is an influential role working across a highly matrixed environment, bringing together strategy, operations, governance, and analytics to deliver enterprise transformation outcomes. The role requires a forward-thinking, flexible executive who can integrate business and technology perspectives, champion AI-led innovation, and translate complex portfolio insights into clear, actionable executive narratives.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in the following areas

Responsibilities

  • Drive the GT initiative technology planning process
  • Shape multi-year technology prioritization, and funding
  • Ensure strong integration of AI and emerging technology investments with disciplined prioritization, scaling, and governance aligned to business priorities
  • Partner closely with GT Strategy executive to ensure alignment and integration of investment portfolio with the GT strategy
  • Establish best in class portfolio management governance, and operating rigor
  • Drive transparency in investment performance, financial risk, and value realization
  • Translate complex data and portfolio insights into compelling narratives for enterprise senior leadership and Board
  • Lead GT OpEx strategy and execution, including “Speak Up” idea response and alignment
  • Align continuous improvement initiatives with strategic transformation priorities
  • Instill a culture of simplification, accountability, and measurable performance improvement
