About The Position

PHINIA is seeking an enthusiastic individual to join their team as a Sustainability Intern. This position will be located at the World Headquarters in Auburn Hills, Michigan. Reporting to the Global Sustainability Manager and supporting the Supply Chain Excellence team, this role offers an exciting opportunity to support PHINIA’s global sustainability strategies and priorities. Requirements

  • Passion for sustainability.
  • Self-starter who is open to feedback and able to identify and implement practical solutions.
  • Strong analytical skill set and data management capabilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and data analytics tools.
  • Bachelor’s degree or currently enrolled as a junior or above in a bachelor’s degree program.
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work on a full-time basis, in the country where the position is currently based.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in sustainability and supply chain is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Support the company’s sustainability strategies, priorities, and external reporting initiatives (e.g., policy reviews, peer benchmarking, research, and projects).
  • Coordinate and collaborate on data collection, documentation, and organization for sustainability-related customer and supplier questionnaires and requests, communicating with internal and external stakeholders as needed.
  • Support the collection and internal reporting of progress toward the company’s global sustainability priorities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
