About The Position

As a Global Supply Manager (GSM) at Pebble, you will play a pivotal role in managing the commercial relationships with key suppliers, ensuring production supply and delivery of components are on time and remain uninterrupted, negotiating for optimized costs, and fulfilling contracts efficiently. Your impact will resonate across the organization, influencing product quality, cost-effectiveness, and supply chain resilience. This is an exciting opportunity to lead product cost management through building, developing, and optimizing our supply chain from 0 to 1, 1 to 10, and 10 to 100 phases. Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience as a Global Supply Manager (GSM), preferably in automotive, consumer electronics, or related industries.
  • Strong background in sourcing and supply chain management for mechanical components, manufacturing engineering, and industrial design collaboration.
  • Hands-on experience with manufacturing practices involving CNC machined parts, sheet metal, enclosures, injection molding, vacuum forming, and other mechanical fabrication techniques.
  • Proven experience sourcing custom mechanical systems used in automotive or RV applications.
  • Strong analytical and negotiation skills, with the ability to toggle between strategic thinking and detailed execution.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to influence cross-functional teams and external partners.
  • Experience working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, with flexibility to adapt to rapidly changing conditions.
  • Ability to travel internationally up to 25%.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field; MBA a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure on-time delivery, quality standards, and cost efficiency of supplied materials.
  • Manage supplier contracts, negotiating terms to optimize value and mitigate risks.
  • Develop and execute supply risk mitigation plans to ensure continuity of supply.
  • Implement and drive a comprehensive cost reduction strategy across the supply chain.
  • Work closely with engineering, manufacturing, and industrial design teams to source, develop, and scale NPI mechanical components.
  • Identify, qualify, and manage suppliers for key mechanical components such as CNC machined parts, sheet metal, enclosures, casings, jigs, tooling, fixtures, injection-molded plastics, and other precision-engineered parts.
  • Collaborate with design and engineering teams to ensure manufacturability, cost-effectiveness, and supply chain operations readiness.
  • Drive supplier selection, qualification, and performance management to align with company objectives and ensure a robust supply chain.
  • Proactively identify and escalate key supply and cost risks to management for strategic decision-making.
