About The Position

Apple is committed to transitioning to 100% recycled rare earth elements (REEs) in magnets across our products. As a Global Supply Manager, you will be at the center of this effort — building resilient and geographically diverse recycled REE supply chains, scaling new recycling and magnet manufacturing technologies, and helping Apple meet its ambitious sustainability commitments. GSMs thrive in dynamic environments, balancing Apple’s engineering and business priorities while driving operational excellence. In this role, you will lead end-to-end program management for Apple’s new Mountain Pass recycling and magnet block facility, ensuring operational readiness and mass production ramp. You will oversee the qualification process for magnet blocks (including heavy rare earth–free designs), manage integration with downstream vendors, and partner closely with suppliers to secure reliable supply.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in supply chain development, strategic sourcing, or materials engineering.
• BSME, BS in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or equivalent.
• Ability to travel internationally up to 25%.

Nice To Haves

• Hands-on experience with rare earths, magnets, or advanced materials supply chains.
• Consistent track record in program management and scaling new manufacturing facilities.
• Outstanding negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong cross-functional leadership and communication abilities.
• MBA preferred.
