About The Position

McCue Corporation is a Bunzl company and the recognized global market leader in asset protection and people safety solutions, cart corrals, barrier systems, crash-rated bollards, and industrial safety products deployed across grocery, retail, warehouse, healthcare, QSR, and industrial environments. We are seeking a detail-oriented and dynamic Supplier Development Associate with a strong background in sourcing manufacturers both domestically and globally. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in sourcing, evaluating, and developing new suppliers to enhance our manufacturing operations. This role requires a combination of operations know-how, strategic thinking, negotiating skills, and a deep understanding of regional manufacturing practices.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required
• Bachelor’s Degree or higher
• 2+ Years experience in a Manufacturing Environment
• Proven Results finding new suppliers and building a relationship
• Technical understanding of engineering drawings
• Ability to obtain and analyze landed costs
• Ability to find and develop new/existing suppliers
• Must be able to travel 10% - 25% both domestically and internally

Responsibilities

• Identify and qualify potential suppliers globally based on quality, cost, and delivery requirements.
• Conduct supplier audits and assessments to ensure compliance with company standards and industry best practices.
• Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure favorable pricing and terms.
• Develop and implement supplier development initiatives to drive performance improvements.
• Lead Global Product Launch Process working with internal and external stakeholders
• Collaborate with internal teams (Engineering, Procurement, Quality) to address supply chain challenges to align on requirements.
• Monitor supplier performance using key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare reports for senior management.
• Stay updated on market trends and emerging technologies to provide strategic sourcing recommendations.
