About The Position

This is an exciting opportunity in Indianapolis for a Marketing Intern. The Intern in this role will gain exposure and experience in Global Strategic Marketing related activities as applied in practice in a global manufacturing company.

Requirements

• College undergraduate or graduate status with 1-3 years at an accredited college or university, pursuing an academic field of study related to Marketing, Sales, Business, or Management.
• Strong oral and written communication skills are required
• Good interpersonal skills to work effectively with others
• Analytical ability to solve complex problems.

Responsibilities

• Analyzing the distribution of Allison products throughout the globe to better understand market share in developing countries and establish a service channel that meets our global customers' needs
• Maintaining a database of Allison product releases at global truck and bus manufacturers
• Utilizing the Customer Value Creation Process to understand market size and trends for new global opportunities
• Supporting customer event logistics and trade shows
• Developing marketing materials such as website content or advertisements in conjunction with external agencies
