About The Position

As a Global SharePoint Online Administrator at STACK Infrastructure, you will be responsible for the design, deployment, and management of our SharePoint Online platform. Additionally, you will play a key role in establishing and enforcing SharePoint governance policies and practices and contributing to select Microsoft 365 administration tasks. The position works under minimal direction with considerable latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.

Requirements

  • Experience with M365 administration, particularly in areas like Exchange Online and Teams.
  • Expert-level knowledge of SharePoint Online and related technologies.
  • Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation and customization.
  • Strong understanding of SharePoint governance principles and best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze and revise standards as well as processes and procedures.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all international organizations and different levels of technical and managerial personnel.
  • Skill in providing exceptional customer service.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States
  • Must pass a comprehensive background screening

Responsibilities

  • Plan, deploy, and configure SharePoint Online, ensuring alignment with organizational requirements and best practices.
  • Monitor and optimize SharePoint Online performance, availability, and capacity.
  • Design, configure, and customize SharePoint Online sites, libraries, lists, and content types to meet business needs.
  • Implement custom solutions, including workflows and forms, using Power Automate and Power Apps.
  • Administer user accounts, groups, and permissions within SharePoint Online, following security best practices.
  • Provide user support, training, and create documentation to ensure effective use of the platform.
  • Develop and enforce SharePoint governance policies, ensuring compliance with industry standards and internal guidelines.
  • Define roles, responsibilities, access controls, and permission levels to maintain data integrity and security.
  • Configure and manage search settings, result sources, and managed properties to optimize content discovery.
  • Oversee content organization, metadata, versioning, and retention policies in line with governance rules.
  • Implement security measures, including data loss prevention (DLP) and access controls, to protect sensitive information.
  • Conduct regular security assessments and respond to security incidents, ensuring compliance with governance standards.
  • Develop and implement backup and recovery strategies for SharePoint Online content and configurations.
  • Design and test high availability solutions to ensure business continuity, in accordance with governance requirements.
  • Assist in M365 administration tasks such as Exchange Online configuration, user management, and license provisioning.
  • Participate in the implementation and management of services like Microsoft Teams, OneDrive for Business, and other related components.
