About The Position

The Global Security Specialist will be responsible for supporting the Physical & Electronic Security Programs function in managing the supporting tasks of a portfolio of electronic security systems implementation projects across varying business units and geographies, and other strategic initiatives intended to protect McKesson/Wellverse assets.

Requirements

  • Degree or equivalent and typically requires 4+ years of relevant experience.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and capable of working either independently or as part of a geographically remote team.
  • Experience in project management, organizational change, and/or process improvement.
  • Strong oral/written communication skills.
  • Confident presenter and public speaker.
  • Solid knowledge of Google Workspace, with a proven ability to aggregate, organize, and prepare complex data sets for use in business analysis.
  • Working knowledge of other Google Workspace (Docs, Slides and Sheets).
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills; ability to gather and critically evaluate information and prepare written documents that clearly and concisely identify the issues presented and their proposed resolutions.

Nice To Haves

  • CPP, PSP, or other relevant professional designations preferred.
  • Knowledge of Six Sigma tools and methodologies preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Implement and manage system optimization strategies to maintain the quality, integration capability, network connectivity and overall interoperability of ESS assets.
  • Manage the triage, troubleshooting, and service of access control and video platform issues, including software issues, alarm events and remote resolution; coordinate service support with integrators as needed.
  • Implement and manage solution strategies through cross-functional partnerships within McKesson Technology to streamline ESS implementation within a secure network architecture.
  • Conduct root-cause analysis of alarm data from a variety of sources to ensure the continuity and effectiveness of field devices, managing corresponding remediation actions as needed.
  • Work collaboratively with members of the Global Security & Safety team, and successfully build, maintain, and strategically influence relationships with third-party ESS manufacturers and installation suppliers.
  • Provide ESS support to project teams and other internal stakeholders to include system design, vendor coordination and final acceptance testing.
  • Manage the planning and execution of cross-functional electronic security systems implementation projects according to company standards while maintaining and continuously evolving program metrics and performance updates.
  • Support third-party design and installation suppliers with invoicing, purchase orders, vendor management support, order placement, and expense analysis; provide guidance on financial corporate processes.
