About The Position

The Global Research Analyst role sits at the center of Duff & Phelps Investment Management Co.'s (D&P) collaborative investment model. This position is designed for an equity research professional who wants to be fully embedded in the investment process, working side-by-side with portfolio managers and senior analysts to support active security selection and portfolio positioning within global listed infrastructure, clean energy, and related developed markets strategies. Rather than operating as a standalone research function, the role is tightly integrated into how portfolios are managed, risks are evaluated, and long-term investment themes are translated into actionable decisions. The Global Research Analyst will assume primary responsibility for a dedicated coverage universe, conducting in-depth fundamental research on developed markets companies across infrastructure and clean energy-related sectors, with openness to candidates who have developed sector expertise in industrials, energy, technology, utilities, or related infrastructure-oriented industries. This role is not intended for candidates whose experience is primarily focused on REITs or traditional real estate securities. Responsibilities include financial modeling, valuation analysis, assessment of regulatory and competitive dynamics, and evaluation of long-term structural trends shaping global infrastructure, energy transition, and related developed markets investment opportunities. Analytical rigor and sound judgment are essential; collaboration, accountability, and intellectual curiosity are what distinguish success in the role. The Global Research Analyst operates within D&P’s highly collaborative investment culture, where proximity to colleagues and active participation in investment discussions matter. Global listed infrastructure, clean energy, and related developed markets sector research at D&P is not a siloed function; it is an integrated component of portfolio construction, relative value assessment, and ongoing risk oversight across strategies. Analysts are expected to engage directly with portfolio managers and fellow researchers, contributing insights that reflect how portfolios are actively managed and how risks and return drivers are evaluated in real time. In addition to core research responsibilities, the Global Research Analyst supports portfolio-level discussions through active communication of investment views, risk considerations, and evolving sector themes. The role involves regular engagement with company management teams, industry participants, and internal stakeholders, ensuring that research perspectives remain current, informed, and grounded in fundamental insight. Working collaboratively across research and portfolio management, the Global Research Analyst helps ensure that investments across global listed infrastructure, clean energy, and related developed markets sector exposures remain aligned with strategy objectives, valuation discipline, and risk tolerances. The position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities within a rigorous, research-driven environment. The Analyst may also contribute to client- and stakeholder-facing materials, including marketing and board content, supporting clear and consistent communication of investment strategy and positioning.
