About The Position

This position will provide quality assurance (QA) support for products produced in at the Longview, TX Eastman site. Managing multiple projects is expected in this assignment.

Requirements

B.S. in Engineering, Chemistry, or related science degree, or relevant experience
Ability to understand manufacturing processes and quality systems.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Ability to implemen chemical requirements in various environments.
Project management skills.
Willingness to spend extra effort as needed to meet project schedules.
Willingness to travel as needed (typically less than 15% of the time).
Experience with Microsoft Windows and Office programs.

Responsibilities

Supporting a system to release or reject raw materials, intermediates, packaging and labeling materials.
Approving specifications, procedures, and test methods.
Approving changes that potentially affect intermediate or final product quality.
Coordinating stability programs
Interacting with customers including complaint investigation and customer audits.
Participating in and performing internal Eastman site audits.
Participating in and performing audits at Eastman supplier and service provider sites.
Ensuring that personnel are effectively trained quality procedures including delivering training.
