Global Public Policy and Strategy Manager (12-month contract to start) We have an opportunity for a Global Public Policy and Strategy Manager (12-month contract, with possibility for extension or conversion to FTE), to join our Legal and Public Policy team in Washington, DC, reporting to the VP, Global Public Policy and Strategy. In this pivotal role, you will lead Infoblox's day-to-day legislative and regulatory advocacy efforts, helping shape policy outcomes that impact cybersecurity, networking, and critical digital infrastructure. You will serve as a trusted representative of Infoblox before Congress, executive branch agencies, regulators, trade associations, and key public-sector stakeholders. Leveraging your deep understanding of the Washington, DC policy environment, you will develop and execute advocacy campaigns, build bipartisan relationships, and advance policy priorities that support the company's strategic objectives.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of experience in government affairs, public policy, legislative affairs, regulatory affairs, or a related field
  • Deep experience in networking and/or cybersecurity with demonstrated success developing and executing advocacy campaigns and influencing legislative or regulatory outcomes
  • Significant experience engaging with Congress, Executive Branch agencies, regulators, or related government stakeholders
  • Established bipartisan relationships across government, policy, and industry communities
  • Strong understanding of the Washington, DC policy environment and political landscape
  • Experience driving policy outcomes via operational partnerships with government cyber centers, law enforcement, or critical-infrastructure stakeholders
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with experience producing policy, regulatory, or advocacy-related materials
  • Proven ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders across complex organizations and external environments
  • Experience using AI-enabled research, analytics, or content-generation tools to improve decision-making and productivity
  • Bachelor's degree in Public Policy, Political Science, International Relations, Law, Cybersecurity, Business, or a related field; advanced degree preferred

Responsibilities

  • Lead Infoblox's U.S. federal government affairs and advocacy strategy across Congress, Executive Branch agencies, global partners, and key regulatory stakeholders
  • Develop and execute advocacy campaigns that advance Infoblox's public policy objectives and business priorities
  • Build and maintain trusted bipartisan relationships with policymakers, congressional staff, agency officials, and industry stakeholders in Washington, DC
  • Represent Infoblox in meetings, briefings, and discussions with government officials, trade associations, and policy influencers
  • Monitor, analyze, and communicate legislative and regulatory developments affecting cybersecurity, networking, cloud technologies, and related policy areas
  • Draft policy positions, comment letters, consultation responses, briefing materials, and advocacy strategies
  • Lead Infoblox’s policy engagement for operational collaboration with cyber centers and law-enforcement partners, translating threat research into trusted information sharing, government advisories, and policy or business outcomes
  • Partner with Legal, Product, Security, Communications, and executive leadership teams to develop and advance policy priorities
  • Engage with industry associations, standards organizations, and policy coalitions to influence outcomes and strengthen Infoblox's industry presence
  • Leverage AI-enabled tools to support policy research, legislative tracking, advocacy planning, and content development
  • Support global public policy initiatives and international stakeholder engagement where business priorities intersect with global policy developments
