The Home Trial Services Global Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the implementation and execution of home visits as outlined in the clinical trial protocol. This role involves collaborating with clients, internal departments, and external vendors to ensure the successful operation of participant home visits.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualification
  • Previous experience provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to 5+ years).
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • Strong interpersonal, planning, organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Effective leadership and team building skills
  • Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
  • Ability to work in team environment, as well as work independently with little guidance
  • Solid client building and 3rd party relationship management
  • Ability to provide customer service with the highest standards of quality and excellence
  • Ability to multi-task as necessary
  • Performs a wide range of variable tasks as dictated by changing conditions and demands

  • A seasoned, experienced professional with a full understanding of clinical trials, managing deliverables and timelines and conducting protocol visits in a remote setting; resolves a wide range of issues in creative ways.
  • Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors.
  • Normally receives little instruction on day-to-day work, general instructions on new assignments.
  • Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Develops study-specific plans, training materials, and timelines for each assigned project.
  • Meets with internal teams to coordinate efforts, provide recommendations and risks and mitigation planning.
  • Evaluates healthcare professionals' (HCP) qualifications, licensure, and CVs to decide on project involvement.
  • Participate in ongoing training for recertifications and on new regulations.
  • Represents the department internally and externally at meetings, strategic projects, and initiatives as per the business requirements.
  • Mentors, guides, and supports junior team members.
  • Participates in process improvement initiatives.
  • Ensures remote study activities conducted by HCPs comply with local regulations and laws.
  • May participate in the bidding and/or bid defense opportunities.
  • Client and project team contact for questions, concerns, and escalations.
