About The Position

Eaton Electrical Division is seeking a Product Manager to develop and drive the strategy and execution for its digital connectivity solutions within the Distributed IT (D-IT) organization. This role reports to the Sr. Product Line Manager for Physical Infrastructure and is responsible for defining product direction, supporting new product development, and managing the lifecycle of digital connectivity offerings, including network management cards, embedded communications, firmware, and software capabilities. This individual will lead portfolio roadmap planning, new product introduction activities across software, firmware, and hardware offerings, and lifecycle management to ensure alignment with customer needs, market requirements, and cybersecurity expectations. This role ensures alignment with customer needs, market requirements, and overall business objectives for the product line.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in Product Management or related field
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience with UPS systems, connectivity products, or related technologies
  • Strong communicator and relationship-builder.
  • Ability to drive process improvement and support execution of product initiatives.
  • Data-driven and detail-oriented with strong business acumen.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement the strategic plan for the digital connectivity product category, including product development initiatives and marketing programs to achieve growth in orders, revenue, and profitability.
  • Support the execution of short-term and long-term product line objectives, including sales targets, pricing strategy, and margin performance.
  • Direct and support new product development and introduction activities for connectivity hardware, firmware, and software offerings.
  • Serves as the business owner for cybersecurity considerations across the digital connectivity portfolio, partnering with engineering, IT, and cybersecurity teams to translate security findings into product priorities, remediation decisions, and lifecycle actions.
  • Develop and maintain product roadmaps and manage the full product lifecycle, including enhancements and product transitions.
  • Participate in product line financials, including forecasting and performance to plan.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Engineering, IT, Quality, Operations, and Supply Chain.
  • Represent the product line in internal and external discussions related to product capabilities and roadmap direction.
  • Serves as the primary business owner for digital connectivity in NAM region and partners cross functionally to ensure globally consistent execution and support.
