Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher AND seven (7) years of manufacturing engineering experience in a private, public, government or military environment.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in an engineering discipline
  • Proven ability to translate business and supply chain needs into workable technology solutions for global supply chain with a passion for technology; curious with a growth mindset.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with strong communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Self-starter with an ability to develop and foster a network across various functions.
  • Demonstrated strength in process and manufacturing engineering problem solving and cross-functional project management skills.
  • Demonstrated analytical and statistical capabilities.
  • Experience with good manufacturing practices (GMP) manufacturing and process validation.
  • Web processing/converting experience.
  • Ability to drive OEE and TEEP to established entitlement levels on critical assets.

Responsibilities

  • Leading and supporting coating technology projects covering topics within MedSurg portfolios and others as assigned, driving improvements in global supply chain robustness and process capability.
  • Owning and optimizing commercialized product value streams, proactively addressing cost, quality, and service issues to meet global performance targets.
  • Driving cost reduction and process innovation through cross-functional collaboration and engagement with global manufacturing sites.
  • Representing manufacturing on capital projects for new and existing equipment to support development and manufacturing requirements.
  • Leading process development and process validation for new and existing products.
  • Develop cost estimates and manufacturing plans to enable efficient production at scale.
  • Responsibilities of this position include that corporate policies, procedures and security standards are complied with while performing assigned duties.
