Global Payments Solutions (GPS) is a significant global product line within HSBC, contributing over 10% of Group revenues. It supports Corporate and Institutional Banking, with nearly 10,000 employees across more than 55 countries. GPS is uniquely positioned to assist clients with cross-border payments, receipts, and liquidity management across various currencies and regulations. The business has been recognized for its expertise as the best global cash manager for corporate and financial institutions by prominent industry publications for consecutive years. GPS Sales Associates are responsible for maintaining and enhancing existing client revenue streams and product/service utilization in collaboration with Senior Sales Managers, Relationship Managers (RMs), and Service/Account Managers. The role involves supporting the development of new revenue streams by identifying, formulating, and pitching innovative Payments and Cash Management solutions to clients. Key activities include monitoring client portfolios for revenue opportunities or risks, assisting Sales Managers with proposal preparation, benchmarking, client planning, pricing analysis, and research, as well as implementing cost or risk reduction initiatives. Sales Associates collaborate closely with other GPS functions, including Product, Implementation, Integration, Business Management, Risk, and Digital teams, both domestically and globally.
