About The Position
As Global Payer Head, you will play a pivotal leadership role in shaping global access, pricing, reimbursement, and evidence strategies for an innovative cell therapy portfolio. You will serve as a trusted strategic partner to cross-functional asset teams and executive leaders, ensuring payer perspectives are embedded throughout development and commercialization planning. This role is accountable for driving robust global payer strategies that optimize value for patients, healthcare systems, and UCB while supporting successful launches and long-term asset growth.
Requirements
- Advanced degree in life sciences, pharmacy, medicine, economics, or related field.
- 8+ years in market access, pricing, health economics, or payer strategy.
- Experience developing global access and reimbursement strategies.
- Knowledge of U.S. and major international healthcare systems.
- Proven leadership in complex matrixed organizations.
- Strong communication, analytical, and strategic planning skills.
Nice To Haves
- PhD, PharmD, MD, MBA, or equivalent advanced qualification.
- Experience supporting innovative therapies or specialty medicines.
- Expertise in health technology assessment and reimbursement submissions.
- Experience with payer evidence generation and health economic modeling.
- Established network within payer, policy, or market access communities.
- Demonstrated success influencing senior stakeholders globally.

- Co-create long-term global asset strategy and lifecycle planning.

- Integrate payer requirements into evidence generation plans.
