Raytheon is seeking a highly motivated candidate to serve as the Radar Portfolio & Strategy Director for Global Patriot Programs. In this role, you will be responsible for the execution of all program scope including EACs, R&O, proposals, PMRs, non-recurring engineering tasks, Radar Tech Roadmap, Investment strategy, Offset and localization NRE. You will lead the team of Program Leads and be the primary interface with the Global Patriot Program Offices.

Requirements

  • University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 14 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 12 years of experience
  • Experience with Patriot Radar Product Line and/or experience on a radar product line
  • Experience leading and/or supporting production and development programs
  • EVMS Certification and experience with Risk & Opportunity management
  • Program Management Certification Level 3 or equivalent
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.​
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance​

Nice To Haves

  • Demonstrated experience managing large/complex program execution experience managing program staffing, assignments, and resources
  • Understanding of various contract types including domestic, FMS, Cost-Plus, FFP & FPIF, and how to execute within a mixed Program
  • Experience working with senior leaders of U.S. and foreign customers

Responsibilities

  • Overall leadership of the Radar Program team and scope including EACs, R&O, Proposals, PMRs and NRE execution
  • Work with the various Program Offices to provide status on execution and customer support
  • Identify investment needs to meet the near- and long-term demand
  • Lead the internal functional organizations, including but not limited to, Engineering, Procurement/Supply Chain, Manufacturing/Operations, Quality Management, Logistics, and administrative functions to meet commitments
  • Establish and maintain key program metrics, define program milestones/critical path, and monitor adherence to program budgets and schedules
  • Manage the radar technical roadmap and proactively address End of Life and End of Service milestones
  • Support the resolution of escalated program risks across the portfolio and similarly escalate as appropriate
  • Develop and lead a team of direct and indirect reports. Focus, evaluate, motivate, and reward the program team, enabling them to achieve desired results
  • Expected to support domestic and international travel as needed
