Global Operations Communications Lead

Neko HealthNew York, NY

About The Position

Neko is redefining preventative care, aiming to make data-driven, preventative care accessible to more people before symptoms appear. Our mission is to sustain health before illness strikes. This role is crucial as Neko scales rapidly, with clinical teams growing across the US and Europe. Currently, the information supporting these clinical teams is fragmented, inconsistent, and ungoverned, posing a quality and safety risk. The Clinical Comms Lead will address this by centralizing and structuring communications to clinical staff, ensuring quality, safety, and operational efficiency. This role involves significant change management, redesigning how the organization interacts with its clinical teams.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in internal communications, change management, or programme management, with direct ownership of communication or enablement strategy at scale.
  • Proven experience designing and enforcing intake or governance processes across multiple cross-functional teams.
  • A track record running structured communications programmes for large, dispersed frontline workforces.
  • Strong programme management instincts: ability to bring structure to ambiguity and build systems.
  • Creative communicator skilled in choosing the right format for the message (e.g., policy document vs. video).
  • Genuine fluency with AI tools and an appetite to use them for improvement.
  • Sharp stakeholder skills: ability to align leadership and cross-functional teams, hold the line, and build trust.
  • Comfortable working across multiple geographies and time zones.
  • Strong written and verbal English.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in high-growth, multi-site consumer services or healthcare strongly preferred.
  • Additional European languages a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Build and enforce an intake model for all communications directed at clinical staff, including submission, evaluation, sequencing, and approval processes.
  • Create a centralized view to prevent uncoordinated or duplicative communications to clinical staff.
  • Document decision criteria for communication prioritization to ensure stakeholder trust.
  • Define escalation paths for urgent communications.
  • Partner with senior leadership to establish the intake model as an organization-wide norm.
  • Manage a structured roll-out of the intake model across all teams interacting with clinical staff.
  • Build collaborative relationships to ensure the process is perceived positively.
  • Report on intake volume, team compliance, and areas for improvement.
  • Conduct an audit of current information flow to clinical teams to identify gaps, overlaps, and friction points.
  • Build a global clinical program with a single source of truth for clinical staff.
  • Design appropriate communication channels and formats for a dispersed, non-desk workforce, leveraging AI tools.
  • Create repeatable templates for consistency in communication.
  • Equip clinic leads with tools and confidence for effective team communication while maintaining global coherence.
  • Define and report on metrics such as comprehension, consistency, engagement, and reduction in operational noise.
