To be eligible for a US-based Ralph Lauren Internship position, applicants must: Attend college full-time in the United States and be entering your final semester or year of undergraduate studies with a graduation date of December 2026 or May 2027 Authorized to work in the United States Able to work in an in-person or hybrid workplace environment arrangement Available the entire duration of the 10-week internship and reside within a commutable distance to one of our office locations (NY, NJ, NC). A housing stipend will be provided to help with travel and accommodations. Candidates should only apply to one role. The Intern, Global Media, Gaming & Esports will be part of an exciting, growing team focused on digital excellence and innovative first-to-market programs within digital marketing. This position will be part of the CMO organization and will be responsible for supporting the digital strategies to drive RL's leadership in digital marketing, specializing in the company's growth within new and emerging digital media ecosystems, gaming and esports. This position will work in close partnership with a great team of knowledge experts across multiple functions in Marketing, Digital, Creative and Innovation. This position will report to the Global Digital Marketing Senior Manager, Gaming.

Requirements

  • Digital curiosity and passion to learn new, rapidly evolving platforms, across topics such as AI, AR, VR, Gaming and GenAI
  • Deep interest in gaming culture, esports, and creator ecosystems - with an understanding of key leagues, teams and content trends
  • Strong project management skills and proven effectiveness at managing initiatives from briefing to completion
  • Exceptional organizational, interpersonal, communication, and time management skills as well as the ability to prioritize, multitask, and focus
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail

  • Strong writing and math skills; retail math a plus

Responsibilities

  • Support the global media team in researching and analyzing new media formats (gaming, audio, digital out of home, etc.)
  • Contribute to media planning tools, calendars, and reporting deliverables for cross-channel campaigns
  • Identify opportunities for disruptive storytelling and media placements that bridge digital and physical experiences
  • Satay current on evolving technologies (AI, AR, VR, XR, CGI etc.) that could enhance future media strategies
  • Evaluate new channels and technologies and keep up with latest in digital marketing, AI, CGI, & more
  • Maintain trackers for partnerships, timelines, and creative deliverables
  • Support presentation development, internal recaps, and post-campaign performance summaries
  • Support research on gaming and esports trends, platforms, and audience behaviors across regions (NA, EMEA, APAC)
  • Assist in tracking competitors, partnership opportunities, and new/emerging gaming formats globally
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams (marketing, comms, regional media) to support execution of gaming/esport activations
  • Oversee digital activation tracking documents, ensuring timely updates and accurate read-outs
  • Assist with cross-functional coordination during launches, esports events, seasonal initiatives
