The team manages Apple's Real Estate and Non-Real Estate leases across multiple lines of business, and is dedicated to driving global standardization, optimizing processes and systems, and establishing a robust governance framework that ensures rigorous compliance and meaningful reporting across US GAAP, IFRS 16, and local GAAP books and records. The Global Lease Accountant will be responsible for accounting for all worldwide leases and US GAAP lease disclosures, and will support IFRS 16 and local GAAP lease accounting as required.

Requirements

Current experience in the Global Business Solutions (GBS) organization
3-5 years professional experience in accounting, finance, or similar field
Excellent SAP knowledge or equivalent ERP experience
Professional accounting qualification such as CPA, ACA, ACCA, or equivalent
Working knowledge of ASC 842, ASC 840, IFRS 16, and Local GAAP
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

Proficiency in data visualisation and reporting tools such as Tableau or Dataiku (desirable)
