In this role, you will lead the People Data & Insights (PD&I) strategy that turns Workday and HR data into clear, actionable workforce intelligence — enabling leaders to move faster, standardize what matters, and make confident decisions across the enterprise. We are seeking a Global Leader, People Data & Analytics to create and execute the enterprise strategy for HR data, analytics, and insights in alignment with the Human Resources (HR) and business strategy. In this role, you will lead a centralized team responsible for transforming Workday and related HR data into trusted, timely, decision‑ready insights for Human Resources and business leaders to make informed talent, workforce planning, and organizational decisions. This role is based out of our Global Headquarters in Allentown, PA. Domestic and International travel is expected to be less than 10% per year. Operating at the intersection of HR, Digital Technology, and business leadership, you will own the People Analytics product portfolio, including standardized reporting, dashboards, self‑service analytics, and advanced insight delivery. You will ensure data reliability, strong governance, and scalable solutions, while enabling the responsible use of AI‑driven analytics capabilities within Workday and the broader data ecosystem. This role balances strategic leadership with operational execution in an environment where Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) is the core system of record. Success requires close partnership with HR Business Partners, Communities of Expertise, HR Operations, Digital Technology teams, and business stakeholders to simplify and standardize analytics delivery, drive adoption across varying levels of data literacy, and establish the enterprise standard for HR metrics, definitions, and workforce insights.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated success in data analytics and storytelling with performance trends and key metrics
  • Demonstrated success with Workday HCM, Workday People Analytics, Workday PRISM
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Proven ability to influence senior leaders through data‑driven storytelling and consultative partnerships.
  • Strong understanding of HR data privacy, security, and regulatory requirements.
  • Proven experience leading and developing analytics teams in a matrixed, global environment.
  • Proven ability to lead change that advances analytics maturity, from traditional reporting to predictive and decision‑centric insights.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Informatics, Statistics, or related field required
  • Minimum 10 years in analytics and reporting required, preferably in a global organization.
  • Minimum 5 years working in a Workday reporting and analytics environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the enterprise PD&I strategy aligned with HR and business priorities.
  • Deliver trusted, consumable, decision-ready workforce insights through standardized dashboards, descriptive reports, and consultative analytic projects for HR and business
  • Own the people analytics product portfolio and roadmap, prioritizing work based on business impact, scalability, and employee experience.
  • Enable advanced and AI-driven analytics capabilities in Workday and the enterprise data ecosystem, with strong governance and ethical use.
  • Oversee the configuration, delivery, and support of Workday People Analytics and Prism capabilities to automate standard reporting, enable augmented analytics and support self‑service while managing limits of prebuilt modules.
  • Partner with HR and business stakeholders to translate workforce and talent questions and requirements into actionable insights, improve data accessibility, and support end-to-end HR lifecycle processes.
  • Manage delivery and analytics offerings by establishing SLAs, reducing ad‑hoc reporting volume through self‑service tools, and operating as an analytics product owner.
  • Establish and maintain HR data governance and reliability by managing HR data preparation, metric definitions, data cleansing processes, and centralized talent data repositories to enable repeatable and trustworthy analytics.
  • Lead, coach, and develop the PD&I team by building capabilities in analytics, visualization, consulting, storytelling skills, and HR domain expertise.
  • Lead compliance and regulatory-related workforce reporting through collaboration with internal teams and external vendors to ensure overall compliance.
