Requirements

  • Undergraduate or master's degree in science preferably food technology or related discipline preferred.
  • 4-10 years successful B to B sales experience in Pet food, human food or feed industry/ingredients.
  • Strong strategic and customer focus profile, enabling development of plan of actions / tactics
  • Outstanding communication ability

Nice To Haves

  • Pet Food Ingredient Sales experience preferred
  • Prior experience working in an international company is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Develop business with national and global accounts
  • Management of sales strategy / budget
  • Ensure the continuous improvement of our commercial program per assigned accounts
  • Apply sales strategy / Plan of action
  • Monitor industry trends and new development, collect competitor and market information Provide various reports to the Director of Sales
  • Develop effective relationships with the technical support managers Reporting duties will include:
  • Sales monthly report: Sales, Margin table, project review, nonconformities, etc. Sales-Indicators
  • Sales and margin
  • Comparison of forecasted and actual sales
  • Customers' non-conformities
  • Develop an "inter-dependent" relationship with his or her team members
  • Ability to identify customer needs and sell solutions not just products
  • Ability to conduct technical discussion and/or presentations
  • Answer technical concerns and provide solutions (or engage technical peer)
  • Ability to stay organized while simultaneously running a variety of projects with different customers as well as reporting and plans
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team and be self-directed and motivated
