About The Position

To realize BCG’s digital transformation ambitions, we are evolving the Digital Workplace to deliver an intelligent, AI-enabled employee experience that improves productivity, simplifies how work gets done, and creates sustainable cost advantage. Reporting to the Executive Director, Digital Workplace Experience (DWE), this Executive Director will lead a significant portfolio within DWE, with accountability for defining strategy, accelerating transformation, and delivering measurable business outcomes across assigned products, services and enabling capabilities. Rather than acting as a functional leader for a single discipline, this role will bring together multiple complementary capabilities to create an integrated employee experience. As a member of the extended Global IT Leadership Team, you will partner closely with Product, Engineering, Operations and Enterprise Technology leaders to accelerate innovation, improve operational performance and embed AI, automation and data-driven decision making across the Digital Workplace.

Responsibilities

  • Provide Strategic Leadership: Deliver a step change in employee productivity while continuously improving the economics of the Digital Workplace through AI, automation, platform simplification and operating model transformation.
  • Own portfolio investment decisions and performance, balancing employee experience, productivity, resilience and cost-to-serve through data-driven prioritization and commercial decision-making.
  • Define and execute the strategy and roadmap for assigned Digital Workplace portfolios, ensuring alignment with the broader DWE vision and enterprise priorities.
  • Establish measurable business outcomes that improve employee experience, operational excellence, productivity and long-term value for the firm.
  • Define and execute the AI strategy across the assigned portfolio, embedding Generative AI, intelligent agents, automation and predictive capabilities into products, services and operations to fundamentally transform how work is delivered and value is created.
  • Build and lead a high-performing portfolio of products, services and enabling capabilities, integrating best-in-class technology, user experience, data, innovation and strategic change to deliver differentiated business outcomes.
  • Lead the evolution of operational capabilities within the assigned portfolio, improving service quality, operational resilience and employee experience through AI-enabled service management, automation and data-driven operations.
  • Partner with Executive Leadership, Product, Engineering and Enterprise Technology leaders to ensure Digital Workplace investments deliver measurable business value and remain aligned to the firm’s strategic priorities.
  • Shape the future direction of the Digital Workplace by identifying emerging technology opportunities, evolving operating models and influencing enterprise investment decisions that position BCG at the forefront of digital employee experience.
  • Provide strategic leadership in partnership with Centre of Excellence Leaders (Data & Analytics, User Experience, Change Management, and Agile Delivery).
  • Lead Employee Experience Transformation: Transform end-to-end employee journeys through the application of Generative AI, intelligent agents, advanced workplace technologies and modern service experiences.
  • Drive the development of scalable, secure and resilient digital workplace platforms that enable rapid innovation and exceptional employee experiences.
  • Shape technical strategy in partnership with Engineering, including Emerging Technologies, Target Architecture, Cloud First, Security, platform modernization and reduction of technical debt.
  • Deliver innovative solutions that reduce digital friction, improve cross-functional collaboration and enhance the overall employee digital experience.
  • Drive end-to-end digital health by improving service reliability, observability, performance and device integrity while embedding security and compliance by design across products and services.
  • Advance Digital Product & Service Excellence: Leverage data, analytics and employee insights to measure experience, identify opportunities and continuously improve product adoption and business outcomes.
  • Embed modern product management, Agile delivery and engineering practices that accelerate value delivery and improve organizational agility.
  • Lead strategic change, communications and adoption activities that enable successful business transformation and maximize return on technology investments.
  • Build AI and data-driven capabilities that enable predictive insights, intelligent automation and continuous optimization across the Digital Workplace.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement where employee feedback, operational data and evolving business needs drive iterative enhancement of products and services.
  • Organizational Impact: Build, lead and inspire high-performing global leadership teams across Product, Engineering, Operations teams.
  • Develop organizational capability, succession pipelines and leadership talent to support the future evolution of DWE.
  • Partner with MDPs and senior business leaders to shape strategic transformation initiatives and influence enterprise priorities.
  • Establish governance, performance measures and investment disciplines that ensure transparency, accountability and measurable business outcomes.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration and continuous improvement across globally distributed teams.
  • Lead organizational change that enables new ways of working, accelerates adoption and embeds a high-performance culture across DWE.
