Position Summary The Global Head, Scientific Communication and Publications - Oncology, provides enterprise leadership for the development and execution of global scientific communication strategies across the oncology franchise, spanning both hematologic malignancies and solid tumors. This role is accountable for shaping and delivering a consistent, high-impact external scientific narrative across marketed and investigational assets, enabling scientific exchange and ensuring impactful communication that informs clinical practice and stakeholder decision-making. The Global Head leads a global organization responsible for scientific communications, publications, and medical content, with dedicated therapeutic area and asset leads (e.g., Hematology, Solid Tumor), as well as medical writers and contractors reporting into this role. The position partners closely with Global Medical Affairs Leaders (GMALs), Strategy & Execution Leads (SELs), Clinical Development Teams (CDTs), R&D, Market Access, and regional leadership to integrate scientific communications with evidence generation and medical strategy, supporting engagement with internal stakeholders (e.g., Field Medical, Market Access), and external stakeholders (e.g., healthcare professionals, investigators). This role contributes to advancing innovative oncology science and improving patient outcomes globally.
