About The Position

This global leadership role reports to the Chief Technology Officer and is a member of the Technology Leadership Team. In this role you will lead two pivotal areas: overseeing shared technology services that power the business and building platforms that enable AI, data and business-embedded technology teams deliver modern tools faster. You will be responsible for the reliability and performance of the firm's infrastructure, cloud platforms, end-user technology, and operational services. Beyond operating critical technology services, you will help transform infrastructure into a modern platform capability by delivering scalable, self-service cloud, data, and AI foundations that accelerate innovation across the firm. You will also play a key role in growing our Budapest technology hub as a center of excellence for platform engineering, infrastructure, and operations.

Requirements

Significant senior leadership experience building or operating enterprise-scale cloud, data or AI platforms and mission-critical infrastructure services.
Demonstrated success turning infrastructure, cloud, data or AI capabilities into reusable, self-service platforms that accelerate engineering and business teams.
Deep working knowledge of Microsoft Azure, modern data platforms, DevOps, automation, infrastructure as code and AI-assisted operations.
Experience owning enterprise network and telephony, end-user computing, production support, IT service management and core services.
Proven accountability for availability, resilience, major incident response, service quality and cost at enterprise scale.
Proven track record in effective partnering with Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) anchored by sufficient understanding of core cyber security concepts, tools and principles.
Experience leading and developing senior leaders within a large, globally distributed technology organization.
Proven ability to build or scale an insourced delivery hub, develop local leadership and retain specialist technology talent.
Ability to set strategy and translate it into clear roadmaps, operating measures and sustained adoption by internal customers.
Experience owning a substantial budget and vendor portfolio, with strong judgment across cost, risk, controls, speed and innovation.
Executive-level communication and stakeholder management skills, with credibility among senior engineers, technology leaders and business executives.

Responsibilities

Build the platform that others build on. Turn cloud, data and AI foundations into self-service, paved-path platforms — so AI, data and business-embedded tech teams can create modern tools faster and more safely, without reinventing infrastructure each time.
Own the AI & data platform run-state. Engineer and operate the services behind our Medallion architecture (Snowflake, Azure, DBT) so analytics and AI use-cases scale across the firm.
Treat internal teams as customers. Set a product mindset for the platform — roadmap, adoption, developer experience and measurable acceleration of the firm's builders.
Run reliable, secure operations. Own availability, resilience, incident response and the service experience for the firm's shared technology — network/telephony, client technology, production support, service management and core services.
Modernize and automate. Drive the shift from manual operations to automation and AI-assisted tooling, raising quality while managing cost.
Lead and develop the leadership team. Direct the Heads of Unified Communications, Client Technology, Production Support, Service Management, Core Services, and Strategy / Architecture / Platform Engineering as a high-performing, globally distributed organization.
Grow the Budapest hub. Scale platform, infrastructure and operations capability in Budapest as an insourced center of excellence, with clear career paths and strong retention.
Manage cost and risk. Own the budget, vendor relationships, and the security and control posture of both the platform and the run.
