Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Food Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of FSQA or quality/regulatory experience.
  • Familiary with regulatory requirements and GFSI schemes.
  • Knowledge of global food regulations and third-party audit standards.
  • Experience supporting food safety risk assessments and preventive control programs.
  • Bilingual in Korean required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Food safety certifications preferred (e.g., HACCP, PCQI, GFSI, SQF Practitioner).

Responsibilities

  • Support the implementation of global FSQA programs and strategy aligned with company objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Contribute to cross-functional teams and global quality councils to drive continuous improvement and a proactive food safety culture.
  • Ensure compliance with GFSI schemes (SQF, FSSC, BRCGS) and international regulations across regions including the US, Canada, Europe, and South Korea.
  • Support supplier quality programs, including audits, certifications, specifications, and raw/finished material traceability.
  • Maintain and update supply chain food safety systems, including HACCP/HARPC documentation and the Foreign Supplier Verification Program (FSVP).
  • Monitor regulatory intelligence and support liaison between headquarters, supply chain partners, customers, and regulatory authorities (including EU).
  • Assist in implementing preventive controls, food fraud and defense programs, and support crisis management and product recall processes for imported products.
  • Develop and deliver training on GMP, HACCP, FSMA, allergen control, and regional regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with R&D, Operations, Supply Chain, Regulatory, and Legal teams during product development, launch, and international expansion.
