About The Position

The Global Financial Crimes Manager (GFC) - Change Initiatives Manager is responsible for leading the execution of complex regulatory, risk, process, and technology-related change initiatives across the GFC Program. Acting as the business lead for change delivery, this role ensures initiatives progress through the change lifecycle in accordance with Enterprise Change Management requirements and the GFC Change Management Framework. The role partners closely with GFC stakeholders, Technology, Risk, Compliance, and Line of Business partners to identify impacts, manage execution risks, coordinate stakeholder engagement, and drive successful implementation of change. The Change Initiatives Manager provides end-to-end oversight of initiative execution, ensuring requirements, testing, readiness, approvals, documentation, and deployment activities are completed in a controlled, compliant, and sustainable manner.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Change Management, Program Management, Project Management, Risk Management, Business Controls, or related functions.
  • Experience leading complex enterprise initiatives involving regulatory, process, operational, or technology change.
  • Strong understanding of change lifecycle management, stakeholder engagement, impact assessment, testing, readiness, and implementation practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional dependencies and drive execution in a matrixed environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with senior management and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and risk management capabilities.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience within Financial Crimes, AML, Sanctions, Fraud, Compliance, Risk, or Regulatory Change environments.
  • Experience supporting Enterprise Change Management or governance frameworks.
  • Familiarity with project lifecycle management tools and systems of record (e.g., PPRT, JIRA, Agile delivery tools, reporting platforms).
  • Project or change management certification (PMP, Agile, Lean, PRINCE2, Prosci, or similar)

Responsibilities

  • Lead execution of GFC change initiatives from intake through implementation and transition to business-as-usual operations.
  • Coordinate change activities across people, process, and technology components to achieve intended business, risk, and regulatory outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain implementation plans, milestones, dependencies, success measures, and stakeholder commitments.
  • Ensure initiatives progress through required governance, tollgate, testing, deployment, and closure activities.
  • Maintain accountability for delivery execution, documentation, and evidence throughout the change lifecycle.
  • Lead stakeholder identification, impact assessment, and engagement activities across business, operational, technology, risk, regulatory, and control functions.
  • Assess and document impacts to processes, controls, systems, data, reporting, governance routines, roles, and regulatory obligations.
  • Facilitate stakeholder alignment, obtain required approvals, and ensure impacts and dependencies are appropriately addressed throughout implementation.
  • Coordinate communications, training, and readiness activities to support successful adoption of change.
  • Identify, assess, document, and proactively manage execution risks, issues, dependencies, and change impacts.
  • Maintain transparency of initiative health, delivery risks, and emerging concerns through established governance routines.
  • Escalate material risks, testing issues, resource constraints, schedule impacts, and other execution concerns through appropriate governance channels.
  • Support regulatory, audit, and risk management deliverables associated with change initiatives.
  • Coordinate business requirements, testing support, readiness activities, and stakeholder validation.
  • Partner with Technology teams to ensure business requirements, implementation plans, testing results, and deployment activities align to business objectives.
  • Support execution of testing, readiness assessments, defect remediation, deployment planning, and post-implementation monitoring.
  • Verify implementation outcomes and support post-deployment validation, lessons learned, and transition to ongoing operations.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of project information and artifacts across required systems of record.
  • Maintain evidence supporting governance approvals, stakeholder engagement, testing, readiness, deployment, and implementation activities.
  • Support internal audit, regulatory, and governance reviews by ensuring appropriate traceability and documentation standards are met.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of GFC change execution methodologies, templates, procedures, and playbooks.
