About The Position

The Global Finance Shared Services (GFSS) team provides standardized, scalable finance operations that support TransUnion’s global growth and customer experience objectives. The Invoice-to-Cash (I2C) function sits within GFSS and partners closely with Sales, Finance, and Operations to ensure timely, accurate billing, efficient cash application, and effective collections. This role reports into Global Finance Shared Services leadership and works in close partnership with the Global I2C Process Leader and regional business leaders. This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.

Requirements

  • 8–10 years of progressive experience in finance operations, shared services, or related roles with direct accountability for I2C performance and outcomes.
  • Strong working knowledge of end-to-end Invoice-to-Cash processes (Billing, Cash Application, Collections), required to effectively partner with operations and address complex regional issues.
  • Experience operating in a finance shared services or global operations environment, enabling effective navigation of standardized processes and regional variations.
  • Proven stakeholder management and escalation handling experience, critical for influencing outcomes across Sales, Finance, Operations, and customer-facing teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field required; Master’s degree preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Experience with ERP platforms such as PeopleSoft and CRM systems such as Salesforce to support billing, AR, and customer account management.
  • Familiarity with I2C automation and workflow tools (e.g., HighRadius) used to drive efficiency, visibility, and control across billing, cash application, and collections.
  • Advanced proficiency in reporting and analytics, including the ability to interpret dashboards and KPIs to inform decision-making.
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without the need for employer support or sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the Regional Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for all Invoice-to-Cash (I2C) matters, including Billing, Cash Application, and Collections, ensuring clear and consistent communication between regional stakeholders and global operations.
  • Partner with regional Sales, Finance, and Operational leaders to align I2C processes with business objectives, customer expectations, and revenue outcomes.
  • Drive effective regional implementation of global I2C standards while accounting for local regulatory, compliance, and cultural requirements.
  • Manage, prioritize, and resolve regional escalations related to billing issues, payment delays, disputes, and complex account reconciliations.
  • Monitor and analyze key I2C performance metrics (e.g., billing accuracy and timeliness, AR aging, Days Sales Outstanding (DSO), unapplied cash, and collection effectiveness) to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
  • Deliver monthly and ad hoc performance updates to regional and global leadership, translating data into actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with onshore functional leaders and the Global Process Leader to drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and tool enhancements within the region.
  • Ensure adherence to global finance policies, internal controls, and regulatory requirements, and support internal and external audit activities.
  • Serve as a change champion by leading regional change management, reviewing and approving SOPs for regional variations, and facilitating training for GCC and operational teams.
