We are seeking an experienced Global Director of Marketing to lead our organization’s efforts to optimize brand deployment, digital communications including website development, content generation, and strategic commercial support. This leader will set direction, build structure, and ensure marketing resources are focused on the highest-value needs of the business. This role requires a marketing professional with an entrepreneurial skillset who can lead through others but still has a roll-up-their-sleeves, get work done, mentality. The ideal candidate must be able to work effectively across business units and functions and bring clear thinking, strong follow-through, and high standards to the marketing organization. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, communications, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of industrial marketing experience, including experience marketing products sold through distribution channels.
  • Experience leading marketing teams to develop innovative brand strategies, digital, communications, website development, catalog and sales tool management, and commercial support, with a proven ability to drive demand generation and create measurable business value.
  • Experience communicating with executives and presenting clearly in leadership settings.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong presentation and project management skills, with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated strength in design judgment, brand positioning, brand image, with experience leading the development of catalogs, collateral, and other marketing assets.
  • Strong understanding of website management, digital marketing, CRM tools, and marketing systems.
  • Ability to lead through others while still maintaining a roll-up-your-sleeves mentality.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to bring structure, clarity, and follow-through.
  • Ability to work effectively across business units and cross-functional teams in a matrix environment.
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, AI Platforms, Salesforce, and relevant marketing technology platforms.
  • Full-time, in-office role based at the company’s headquarters in Smyrna, TN.
  • Ability to travel approximately 25%.

Responsibilities

  • Own global brand strategy.
  • Work with each business unit to align marketing resources to support their commercial growth strategies.
  • Own and lead execution of marketing operations across CRM, communications (internal and external), website, demand generation, events, digital campaigns, marketing content and collateral generation.
  • Own the development of marketing programs for contractors, engineers, distributors, and agents across key channels.
  • Build distributor marketing programs including campaigns, sales tools, digital content, training, and merchandising.
  • Build OEM and engineer-focused marketing programs including technical content, CAD and 3D libraries, calculators, application notes, case studies, and webinars.
  • Own and upgrade corporate and business unit websites and ensure website content supports customers, investors, candidates, and employees.
  • Serve as the business owner for Salesforce and other marketing systems.
  • Oversee marketing and CRM dashboards, reporting, and KPI tracking.
  • Lead digital strategy across website, SEO/SEM, email, social media, and video, and ensure campaigns are tied to business priorities.
  • Build the road map for sales tools with business unit and commercial leaders and share best practices across businesses.
  • Own the marketing budget and measure return on marketing spend.
  • Lead marketing integration for acquisitions across brand, website, collateral, CRM, and trade shows.
  • Build and lead voice of customer, NPS, and other customer feedback processes.
  • Manage and prioritize trade shows and improve return on trade show spend.
  • Own brand collateral, create new materials, and maintain a consistent, current collateral library.
  • Develop engaging video content for contractors, engineers, distributors, reps, and OEMs tied to business priorities.
  • Grow executive and company social media presence to support brand visibility, industry credibility, and commercial priorities.
