About The Position

TriNetX is seeking an extremely talented, energetic, and motivated individual interested in data engineering and operations for a unique 13-week internship. The intern will gain an overview of the TriNetX data ecosystem and hands-on experience in data processing tasks. The intern, in collaboration with the data operations team lead, will select a project or area of focus for their internship. This position reports to our global HQ in Cambridge, MA and is hybrid with 2-3 days onsite.

Experience with SQL databases
Knowledge or experience with clinical patient data
Familiarity with controlled medical terminologies
Experience with Databricks
Experience in AI and/or Machine Learning

Responsibilities

Work with cross-functional teams (informaticists, data engineers, software engineers, and data scientists) to support data team projects.
Participate in improving existing processes and tooling.
Be mentored by members of respective teams and work in close collaboration with them.
Develop an individual project, scoped for completion within the summer, that accommodates the intern’s interests and company business needs.
Take a substantial role in the project, be proactive, and learn about the regular operations of their team.
Present their work at an internal company meeting alongside other summer interns.
