About The Position

This job is responsible for managing multiple operations segments or divisions for a site, region, product line, or business group within the bank's internal operations. Key responsibilities include resolving broad operational issues, ensuring compliance with policies, and leading implementation of opportunities to improve process performance and operating efficiency. Job expectations include coordinating activities and processes with Lines of Business and other operations segments to set strategic direction and promote ideas, and managing two or more levels of managers. The Relationship Manager serves as the primary liaison for designated business partners and connects them with the appropriate Global Credit Operations teams. This role provides a single point of contact for issues, initiatives, escalations, and priorities that cross functional boundaries. The Relationship Manager coordinates responses, clarifies ownership, supports senior leaders, and helps drive work to timely resolution.

  • Understanding of common platforms utilized by Global Credit Operations (LoanIQ, Credit Center, GFS, Alfa, Stucky, etc.)

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary liaison for designated business partners, managing ongoing engagement, communications, meetings, and follow-up activities.
  • Act as a strategic advisor to senior leaders and provide clear, timely updates on priorities, risks, and issues.
  • Translate business priorities into coordinated cross-functional actions, deliverables, and issue resolution
  • Own intake and coordination for client escalations and drive issues toward resolution.
  • Monitor commitments and ensure functional owners remain accountable for execution.
  • Identify recurring themes and stakeholder feedback to recommend process, control, and collaboration improvements.
  • Serve as the connection between Business Partner strategies and Operations priorities, ensuring plans, investments, and roadmaps remain aligned.
  • Maintain visibility into strategic initiatives, transformation programs, AI adoption efforts, platform modernization activities, and organizational changes across both Business partners and Operations.
  • Identify and proactively address misalignment, overlapping initiatives, conflicting priorities, or competing investment decisions before they impact execution.
  • Promote enterprise thinking by identifying opportunities to leverage common solutions, shared capabilities, AI initiatives, and best practices across business lines and operations teams.
