About The Position

This is a hybrid role in San Francisco, CA 94158, for a Global Consolidations Accountant. The position is for a duration of 3 months. The role requires assisting in the clean-up and governance of master data and change management across financial systems. The accountant will perform monthly consolidations using HFM/Hyperion, ensuring SOX compliance. A key responsibility includes performing analysis on the effects of foreign exchange on the P&L and balance sheet. The ideal candidate will be a subject matter expert in data governance, multiple entity structuring, foreign exchange matters, and the consolidation process via Hyperion Financial Management. They will also assist in entity mergers, dissolutions, and/or changes in the functional currency, and act as a cross-functional business partner to implement automation and create improvements to optimize the month-end close.

Requirements

• Expert in Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) and Oracle Cloud/FCCS
• Experience leading system integrations or master data governance cleanup
• Ability to identify flaws in Excel logic and fix them
• Experience with complex intercompany eliminations and foreign exchange (FX) impact analysis
• Comfortable with high-volume, high-stakes data, such as a $140B portfolio of derivatives
• Senior Manager or VP pedigree with a desire for a hands-on Individual Contributor role
• Demonstrated personal automation of global consolidation reports, refinement of process narratives, and performance of FX revaluations

Nice To Haves

• Big 4 experience, consulting or audit experience with multinational engagements
• Big 4 Audit or Consolidations experience at a multi-national level
