About The Position

Apple is seeking a Global Commodity Manager to join its AppleCare team. The role manages continuity of supply, warranty redemption, supplier quality claims, repair and testing, reverse logistics, and costs for service product components. The manager designs and implements solutions to achieve business-critical AppleCare supply chain metrics and partners with planning, purchasing, finance, engineering, and quality teams to support the service phase of the product lifecycle. The work involves cross-functional collaboration in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.
• 5–7 years of experience in supply chain management.
• Vendor management background, including experience working with contract manufacturers.
• Proficiency in procurement and project management, including cross-functional collaboration.
• Knowledge of component manufacturing processes.
• Background identifying and resolving engineering quality issues.
• Understanding of contractual terms and negotiation strategies when collaborating with legal teams.
• Experience presenting technical and business information to cross-functional teams and leading project initiatives.

Nice To Haves

• Master of Business Administration (MBA) or equivalent advanced degree.
