Global Client Director, LinkedIn Talent Solutions - Staffing

LinkedInChicago, IL
$285,000 - $435,000Hybrid

About The Position

This role will be based in NYC, CHI, or SF. At LinkedIn, our approach to flexible work is centered on trust and optimized for culture, connection, clarity, and the evolving needs of our business. The work location of this role is hybrid, meaning it will be performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on selected days, as determined by the business needs of the team. We are looking for a Global Client Director to own our largest and most complex global Staffing accounts — the enterprise firms whose entire business model runs on finding, placing, and mobilizing talent. This role is measured on net-new growth. You will carry a significant quota, chase net-new growth as aggressively as you defend the base, and thrive in high-stakes commercial negotiations where the outcome is measured in tens of millions of dollars. You will build durable executive relationships with the founders, CEOs, COOs, and Chief Growth Officers who run these firms, and you will be in the room when they set strategy, not briefed on it afterward. You will lead the global account strategy end to end, orchestrating a cross-functional team across regions to sell the full Talent Solutions portfolio (Talent and Learning) into a client base that lives and dies by recruiter productivity, fill rates, and margin. You will advise executive customers on where the staffing market is heading, act as the liaison between clients and LinkedIn product teams, and convert that credibility into new investment that grows both their business and ours. This is a highly collaborative role that demands global vision, cultural fluency, and genuine competitive drive. You take a consultative approach, you know the client's P&L, and you are not afraid of a hard conversation.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of experience in quota-carrying solution-selling roles or equivalent consultative experience.
  • 5+ years of experience selling to EVPs and CXOs of Fortune 500 companies or companies with annual revenues exceeding $5 billion.
  • Experience leading large, complex global accounts as the accountable commercial owner – directing renewal and growth outcomes and orchestrating execution across a cross-functional account team spanning multiple regions.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience selling into the staffing, RPO, MSP, or workforce solutions industry is a significant plus.
  • Demonstrated track record of consistently overachieving quota through net-new acquisition, not renewal management alone.
  • Proven mastery of complex negotiations — multi-year, multi-entity, procurement-led deals with significant commercial complexity.
  • Demonstrated ability to execute global account strategy plans, structure complex global deals, manage multiple territories, and develop business to support growth.
  • Proven experience managing both directly and indirectly through influence and alignment.
  • Experience selling to and influencing EVPs, CXOs, and end-users in the same sales cycle, in both individual and team sale environments.
  • Experience selling brand new, disruptive technology.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Experience managing, developing, and inspiring a global account team of sales reps, cross-functional partners, and sales support staff.
  • Experience managing global accounts in net new and renewal environments.

Responsibilities

  • Establish trusted executive relationships with CEOs, COOs, CFOs, CROs, and Chief Growth/Delivery Officers at the world's largest staffing and workforce solutions firms.
  • Speak the client's language — recruiter productivity, fill rate, time-to-submit, gross margin, bill/pay spread, perm versus contract mix — and translate LinkedIn's value into their economics.
  • Exhibit deep, current knowledge of the full LinkedIn Talent Solutions suite (Talent and Learning) and apply it to staffing-specific workflows and ATS/CRM ecosystems.
  • Lead regular executive business reviews that keep LinkedIn's value proposition unmistakable and tied to the client's growth agenda.
  • Build strategic account plans covering company strategy, macro labor-market factors, decision-makers, buying process, current investment, product utilization, and untapped revenue.
  • Map the global opportunity across every operating company, brand, and region inside each account.
  • Own a proactive new-business motion: proactively source, qualify, and close net-new business inside and adjacent to your named accounts.
  • Master complex, multi-year, multi-million-dollar negotiations. Structure creative commercial constructs, hold value under pressure, and close on time.
  • Address shelfware, churn risk, and under-utilization directly, and convert those conversations into expansion.
  • Grow revenue through upsell at renewal and by landing transformational new agreements.
  • Lead and inspire a global cross-functional team of subject matter experts to execute the account strategy.
  • Think and execute globally, collaborating across internal and client teams to drive value.
  • Develop the next generation of sellers by modeling excellence in account leadership, negotiation, customer relationship building, mentoring, and coaching.
  • Leverage executive sponsors to deepen LinkedIn's relationships at the top of the house.
  • Represent staffing-market trends and client needs to the Executive and Product teams to shape the portfolio.
