About The Position

As a Global Client Advocate within Corporate Risk and Broking (CRB), you will be responsible for leading and growing a portfolio of highly complex global and national accounts, with a specific focus on Defense & Security clients, public sector organizations, government contractors, and related entities. This role requires a strong understanding of the unique risk, regulatory, procurement, contractual, geopolitical, and operational environments facing organizations that support national security, defense missions, and critical public-sector operations. The Global Client Advocate will serve as the senior relationship leader and strategic advisor to executive-level risk, finance, legal, procurement, compliance, and operations stakeholders, coordinating WTW resources to deliver tailored risk and insurance solutions aligned to mission-critical client needs. This role will focus on clients operating in the Defense & Security sector, including public sector entities, government contractors, defense technology providers, aerospace and mission-support organizations, and related companies serving national security priorities. The successful candidate will understand the importance of regulatory compliance, procurement discipline, contractual insurance requirements, evolving geopolitical risk, supply chain resilience, cyber risk, and operational continuity in supporting these clients.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of the unique risk, regulatory, procurement, contractual, geopolitical, and operational environments facing organizations that support national security, defense missions, and critical public-sector operations.
  • Understanding of regulatory compliance, procurement discipline, contractual insurance requirements, evolving geopolitical risk, supply chain resilience, cyber risk, and operational continuity in supporting these clients.

Responsibilities

  • Lead senior-level client relationships across Defense & Security, public sector, government contractor, and related industry accounts
  • Lead the RFP process for new and expanded opportunities, including strategy, content development, procurement alignment, and final deliverables
  • Drive pricing of services, appropriate resource allocation, and profitability across assigned Defense & Security accounts
  • Drive profitable growth from the assigned portfolio of clients and prospects by identifying opportunities tied to emerging risk trends, contract requirements, and evolving client needs
  • Achieve target revenues in the following areas : Maintain a core book of revenue, Achieve revenue growth by creating effective sales strategies to new clients or upsell to current clients, Strong client retention
  • Ensure all clients have an Independent Client Service review at least every two years
  • Serve as the primary portal to WTW for the client, bringing the right industry, broking, analytics, claims, risk control, and specialty resources to address complex Defense & Security exposures
  • Build deep relationships with senior decision-makers, including C-suite, risk management, legal, finance, procurement, compliance, and operations leaders
  • Embrace the responsibility to demonstrate inclusive, positive, and colleague empowered leadership as a member of the Client Management function’s senior leadership team.
  • Develop and use a deep understanding of WTW’s capabilities and expertise across the company, with emphasis on solutions relevant to government contractors, public sector entities, and mission-critical operations
  • Build diverse and inclusive teams through strategic internal and external talent identification and recruitment
  • Develop and mentor others
  • Partner with broking teams to design and optimize insurance programs addressing complex exposures such as government contracts, multi-location operations, professional liability, cyber, supply chain, international operations, workers compensation, aviation, marine, political risk, and casualty risk
  • Monitor market, legislative, procurement, geopolitical, and defense-sector developments that may affect client risk strategy or insurance program design
