About The Position

The Global Channel Communications Manager will serve as integral part of the global Corporate Affairs team, accountable for developing, driving, and executing the HP channel media strategy and thought leadership on a global scale. This role will serve as a trusted advisor and extended staff member to the SVP of Global Revenue Operations (Kobi Elbaz). Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Drive earned, paid, shared and owned media strategy on a global scale. Accountable for strategy, execution and KPIs. Defines channel priorities, narratives, campaigns and runs point on content development for GM for major partner events and media interviews. Lead communications strategy and messaging for major initiatives. Lead creation of keynote content for mainstage channel presentations, panel sessions and partner events. Lead thought leadership for Global Channel GM across earned, shared, paid, and owned. Lead small team of dotted line market (dual hat) channel leads and agency recoures in local execution of activations & events. Manage paid sponsorships with key channel publications and analyst firms. Develop, hone and manage relationships with top tier channel publications. Manage agency budget and execution. Ideal candidate is a driven self-starter, skilled in storytelling, narrative development and keynote presentation creation; adept at driving strategic media relationships and pitching media on a global scale.

Requirements

  • Degree in Journalism, Communications or related field (preferred)
  • Self-starter with ability to work effectively in a global remote team
  • Media-savvy with experience across earned, owned, shared and paid media
  • 8-10 years of experience, working for a name brand, tech brand or tech PR agency
  • Proven expertise in the art of storytelling
  • Excellent narrative development, writing and editing skills
  • Background in developing senior executive presentations and opinion pieces
  • Exceptional project management and prioritization skills
  • Superior communications and presentation skills
  • Ability to quickly ramp-up and make an immediate impact
  • Team player with strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
