About The Position
BioPhorum is a global collaboration platform for the life sciences industry, established in 2004. It brings together over 150 organizations, including 18 of the top 20 biopharmaceutical companies, to address industry-wide challenges through collaboration and innovation. The Technology Strategy Phorum, where this role sits, is dedicated to shaping the future of biopharmaceutical manufacturing operations. Members, including manufacturers, suppliers, and integrators, collaborate to develop practical tools, frameworks, benchmarking, and best practices. This work aims to foster more flexible, resilient, and sustainable manufacturing, leading to faster speed to market, reduced costs, de-risked technology investments, improved supply resilience, lower waste and emissions, and greater operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Experience in life sciences, biotechnology, pharmaceutical manufacturing, CDMOs, or consulting.
- Enjoy collaboration and driving meaningful change.
- Strong stakeholder management and facilitation skills.
- Experience leading projects or change initiatives.
- Ability to simplify complex topics into actionable outcomes.
- Proactive and adaptable mindset.
- Confidence working in fast-paced, evolving environments.
Responsibilities
- Lead and facilitate industry workstreams composed of senior experts from the global biopharma sector.
- Create highly collaborative environments to help members solve complex manufacturing and operational challenges.
- Guide projects from concept through to delivery.
- Work on initiatives focused on areas such as future facility design, autonomous process systems, and technology adoption.
- Deliver outputs including industry guidance, benchmarking reports, business case frameworks, and strategic tools.
