The Global Business Process Owner (BPO) Director for Trade Compliance is accountable for the design, standardization, and continuous advancement of MedTech's system-enabled global trade processes, with Global Trade Services (GTS) and SAP S/4HANA at the core. The role owns the end-to-end business process for trade compliance and drives the deployment of GTS Edition for HANA (E4H) and adjacent capabilities that reduce compliance risk through automation, real-time screening, and end-to-end audit traceability. Operating at the intersection of compliance, supply chain, and digital transformation, the BPO translates regulatory and trade control requirements into standardized, scalable processes, and ensures GTS paired with SAP S/4 capabilities enables the Global Trade Controls Standards within scope, while phasing out fragmented stand-alone tools and legacy GTS instances. The role is pivotal to achieving the future state of Global Trade Controls and Operations in alignment with the MedTech digital capability roadmap.
