About The Position

The Global Brand Director serves as the brand’s strategic and creative lead, responsible for driving the global brand agenda. This leader shapes the brand’s voice, experience, and cultural relevance for a new generation of travelers, translating vision into strategy and strategy into action. The Global Brand Director oversees the brand evolution across markets, serving as a key architect of the brand experience and culture. The role partners across disciplines—marketing, design, development, operations, and beyond—to ensure the brand not only looks and feels right but performs commercially and resonates emotionally. This individual is a visionary, a brand builder, a culture driver, and a powerful advocate.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in marketing, Hospitality, or a relevant field of work or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience
  • 8+ years progressive work-related experience in marketing, brand management and/or hotel operations in the Luxury and Lifestyle segment
  • Display experience, passion and understanding of Luxury Lifestyle industry and consumer
  • Demonstrated ability to develop consumer understanding based on research and existing trends
  • Ability to influence stakeholders and effectively establish relationships with cross-functional teams
  • Demonstrated knowledge of branding and brand management
  • Demonstrated project management experience

Responsibilities

  • Lead the global evolution of the Kimpton brand experience, ensuring a distinct, elevated, and emotionally resonant identity across guest, colleague, and brand touchpoints
  • Act as the global steward of the Kimpton brand, owning the brand blueprint, standards, voice, narrative, service philosophy, and experiential signatures to ensure consistency and clarity across regions.
  • Translate consumer insights, cultural trends, and competitive intelligence into brand strategy, shaping experience design, product direction, and long-term brand evolution.
  • Oversee the end-to-end creation and global rollout of brand programs and initiatives, from ideation and testing through governance and scalable execution.
  • Lead Kimpton’s global brand strategy and planning, including the annual brand plan, investment prioritization, brand health measurement, and performance tracking.
  • Shape and activate Kimpton’s global culture and service philosophy, partnering with Operations, HR, and GXSS
  • Build, lead, and develop a high-performing brand team, fostering a culture of creativity, rigor, accountability, and collaboration across regions.
