Requirements

  • University or Bachelor's degree.
  • Detailed knowledge of key customer types or customers on given products.
  • Viewed as expert in company; sought out by other Sales Representatives and/or first level managers for input.
  • Typically, 8+ years of experience as referenced above.
  • Industry experience required.
  • Experience in product specialty (computers, printers, servers, storage).
  • Has good leadership skills and cross functional expertise.
  • Must have good time management skills.
  • Broad understanding of the customer's needs; applies standard as well as creative solutions to meet those needs; particularly considering the specific industry/market.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple internal and external partners on multiple levels to deliver appropriate solution sale.
  • High level customer management relationship building, working at management and executive level in lines of business.
  • Partner organization intelligence aligned with partner management skills.
  • Advanced sales negotiation, and deal closing skills.
  • Identifies and effectively leads the account resources to ensure coordinated, efficient, account management, and accountability for achieving business results.
  • Expertise in managing end- to-end sales processes in large deals.
  • Relevant knowledge of client's industry; keeps abreast of trends and leads discussions with IT on strategic directions and linking discussions.
  • Knowledge of the company's breadth of solutions and engages specialist resources as needed.
  • Ability to understand the customer's business issues and translate to the company's solutions.
  • Ability to prioritize and drive strategic sales activity on a complex solution basis.
  • Excels in competitive selling skills.
  • Sells across platform and specialty.

Responsibilities

  • Drives global account growth strategies through a comprehensive account planning process, leading regular business reviews and coordinating updates across regions and international stakeholders.
  • Partners extensively with global alliance, channel, and ecosystem partners to develop and deliver complex, multi-country solution sales.
  • Serves as the primary executive interface for global customer accounts, engaging with senior leadership and decision-makers across multiple geographies, business units, and functions.
  • Develops and executes global account business plans aligned to customer objectives, market opportunities, and corporate priorities.
  • Applies advanced consultative selling techniques to identify, influence, and accelerate strategic opportunities that drive sustained, profitable revenue growth worldwide.
  • Builds trusted advisor relationships with executive stakeholders, maintaining high levels of customer loyalty, trust, and satisfaction across international organizations.
  • Responsible for achieving and managing quarterly, semi-annual, and annual revenue, margin, and growth objectives across global accounts.
  • Maintains accurate pipeline management and forecasting, ensuring opportunities are updated regularly and global best practices are implemented consistently across regions.
  • Leads strategic margin optimization and recovery initiatives while coordinating cross-functional teams to maximize business outcomes.
  • Acts as the central point of coordination for international accounts, collaborating with global business units, regional sales teams, services organizations, and partner ecosystems.
  • Identifies complex customer requirements across multiple markets, aligns them with the company's global capabilities, and orchestrates the appropriate delivery and supply chain model to support scalable, worldwide customer success.
