About The Position

This role is made for individuals who love building big-picture client partnerships and making complex global programs run smoothly. The Global Account Director will lead strategic relationships for BCD Meetings & Events while supporting Life Sciences clients in a fast-paced, highly regulated meetings and congress environment. Responsibilities include program evolution, stakeholder engagement, financial performance, and operational consistency, shaping global program success. This is a high-impact role for someone who is a strategist, consultant, and relationship builder.

Requirements

  • Experience leading global client relationships.
  • Ability to turn business goals into smart, scalable meeting and congress strategies.
  • Experience thriving in a highly regulated, detail-oriented Life Sciences environment.
  • Experience managing budgets, forecasts, pricing, and profitability.
  • Ability to use data, insights, and storytelling to influence stakeholders.
  • Ability to partner across teams, markets, and functions.
  • Less than 25% travel required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting pharmaceutical meetings, congress programs, or other Life Sciences event environments.
  • Strong background in global account management, strategic planning, and large-scale client program leadership.
  • Confidence presenting to senior stakeholders and leading strategic reviews, workshops, and expansion conversations.
  • Knowledge of meeting technology, operational forecasting, and best practices for global program delivery.
  • Congress-specific strategy experience.
