About The Position

Gleaner Tech Van Intern - Summer 2027. AGCO's Custom Harvest Tech Van team is looking for interns to spend their summer supporting advanced harvesting operations across the Great Plains. This internship involves traveling with a mobile field service team, gaining hands-on experience with high-tech combines, and helping to keep harvesters running during peak season. Interns will work directly with AGCO specialists who support custom harvest crews across multiple states, combining agriculture, mechanical troubleshooting, technology and diagnostics, travel, and field support.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in Agricultural Sciences, Engineering, Diesel Technology, Mechanics, or a related field
• Passionate about agriculture and machinery
• Strong problem-solvers with mechanical aptitude
• Comfortable communicating with customers and team members
• Self-motivated and willing to travel full-time during the harvest season
• Ability to work in outdoor agricultural environments, stand or walk for extended periods, and safely perform duties that require bending, reaching, and manual handling of materials.

Responsibilities

• Identify equipment and performance issues
• Use electronic diagnostic tools to identify fault codes
• Help perform repairs and maintenance on harvesting equipment
• Make machine adjustments to optimize performance in different crops and field conditions
• Support customers and harvest crews with technical solutions
• Learn how cutting-edge precision agriculture technology performs in real-world conditions
